Lead your faction to victory in WWII

Glory of Generals 3 is a strategy mobile video game wherein you join important historical battles during World War II. Developed by EasyTech, this is a real-time war strategy game where you can complete campaigns modeled after real-life historical events. The third installment to the Glory of Generals mobile series, this game features classic war game combat mechanics but also brings in new improvements to the gameplay compared to the first two games.

The same good gameplay

The Glory of Generals series is a real-time war strategy game series that all take place in WWII—unlike with the common practice of other games wherein the time period changes. The first two games of the mobile version, Glory of Generals and Glory of Generals-WW2 frontline War Strategy Game, were free to play. This time, Glory of Generals 3 has a price tag—however, this at least makes it easier to obtain powerful units.

You would usually need to grind for these units in the previous games. Now, however, there’s not a lot of constant grinding just to get past difficult missions. That doesn’t mean the game permanently gets easier, though. You get to play both the Axis and the Allies campaigns again, and there are over 120 historical scripts in six war zones. There are also over 100 playable generals, over 60 special forces, and units from over 200 countries.

There’s actually not a lot of prominent changes to this title compared to the previous games. Much of it is in the updated mechanics, such as a more realistic weather system. However, this also has a new engine production and a new special force system. As always, each mission needs you to complete all goals and use only a few resources to attain a high score. The game needs a little bit of work, though.

A small price to pay

All in all, Glory of Generals 3 is a great installment to the Glory of Generals series. While it’s not drastically different from the first two mobile games, it still has its own charm despite not being free-to-play. The game has nice 3D graphics for both in-game models and background environments. If you’re a fan of strategy games and found this series to be an enjoyable one, then this is a recommended title to try out.
